I have to admit I think MSU would have BEEN MUCH better if Jamont and MSU fans had known this (like a lot of us did) 3 years ago.
Maybe we would have had better team play.

The reality has been explained to you - over and over and over again - that just because you are a great college player doesn't mean you will viewed by NBA
scouts as a great pro. See Shan Foster, Chris Lofton, and CDR. Speaking of CDR, did you predict that he would fall as far as he did? I didn't think so.
Most of these "Jamont lovers" that you keep referring to could give a shit how he does in the pros. They just appreciate the fact that if he
hadn't come to Starkville, MSU wouldn't have sniffed post season play the last two years. Some folks don't perform as well as the competition gets
stiffer. I know that is hard for you to understand - seeing that you are a complete fool on all levels.

We all said that Jamont was a great college player that might not translate to the pros. I think last night pretty much agreed with what everyone was saying.
With Jamont in college, he won 2 SEC West Championships and went to the NCAA Tournament.
I support the two most frustrating teams in America: The New Orleans Saints and the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

"Might as well take credit where credit is due, because the conventional wisdom mavens sure as heck arent going to admit they were wrong."
First of all, you are a moron, never forget that. Secondly, who are these "conventional wisdom mavens" the predicted a) Jamont would be a high draft pick and b) he would be a great professional player? I really want to know who these people are because I sure haven't seem them around even though you say that there are enough to make their position conventional wisdom. Finally, and by finally I mean to sum up my remarks and hopefully put this foolish argument of yours to bed for good, Jamont was a fantastic college player who was instrumental in us winning two SEC West crowns and making the postseason twice in his career. If you argue against that point then you are either a moron (hint, this applies to you specifically) or you are going against the "conventional wisdom" of everyone that truly understands the game of college basketball. Furthermore, MSU will really miss him this coming season, another point which cannot be argued against. I hope you didn't pull a hamstring running from your TV to the computer to post this. Even though most of us were wishing Jamont the best I know you were hoping he would go undrafted so as to prove your point, even though it didn't. |

I can not believe that you are excited that a MSU player did not get drafted simply so you could gloat on an internet message board.
Can't we go back to ignoring JR |

"I'm so depressed I can't even blink." - Bill Dauterive "I've watched tons of football and I made a 24 on the English section of my ACT, so watch who you're calling dumbass, dubmass. Queer." -BiggerFeces "I'm asking the fans, don't clap for our team when we lose. Please don't clap for us. We think we've done something pretty good and, and we didn't. We didn't do enough and the game was there to be won, and if we're going to be winners around here, we've got to expect good things to happen and not be content with being close. It's as simple as that." - Steve Spurrier, 9/28/2006 GO STATE!! |

JR wrote: Better team play? During JG's freshman year, our team sucked. Everyone wanted him to take it to the hole and try to make things happen. Each year, he has become a better shooter, passer, and defender. He makes better decisions and is a hell of a team player. You can tell that he puts us winning ahead of any personal goals. A more selfish JG easily gets 20 per game last year. |
