just kidding. If anything I'd say Sydney's lawyer is the one doing the most harm in this case...probably not a good idea to ruffle the collective
feathers of the NCAA...ripped shamelessly from VZ's twitter page:

its one thing to try to sway public opinion when you know you have a judge that will be fair or when you have a jury that probably will never hear it, but its
not smart to piss off a body that cares nothing about being fair.

like Bama, USC, etc. I wouldn't mind the lawyer posturing as much, but this is likely a bad move on his part.

The lawyer said all along he would not send the NCAA the bank statements they requested. If this is the info they are talking about not receiving I don't
blame the lawyer. It really isn't any of there business.

i agree, the ncaa doesn't really have any authority and the law is arbitrating this. once they step into the courtroom the ncaa and the sidneys are EQUALS
in the eyes of the law. if the ncaa can be proven wrong in this case, then hell yeah ruffle their feathers, make them look bad. the ncaa has looked bad enough
lately, i doubt they'll come after us when they have much bigger fish to fry and we really aren't at all involved in these arguments.

Jackson said that he would have all the documents to the NCAA by today which means the NCAA still does not have the paperwork in hand. Then, Jackson expects
the NCAA to review all the paperwork, formulate their questions/concerns, and be ready for a legal intetview by the middle of next week? If Jackson really
expected the interview to happen next week, then he should have submitted all paperwork at least a week or two ago. This lawyer is making himself look like an
idiot. I know there is an assumption that all lawyers, doctors, etc. are smart people. I have learned first hand that many of them are educated wayyyy beyond
their intelligence. Just sayin'.

You're making the faulty assumption this would ever go to a trial. It won't. | #8 | ||

The NCAA doesn't need it to. All they need to do is delay things for about 8 months (which is very easy to do with any legal proceding and this one
hasn't even turned into a legal proceding yet). By then it won't matter any more and they can just drop the whole matter by declaring him eligibile
next March.
