Particulary in the northern part of the state. I have heard alot about Aberdeen but never been there.

Don't know much about North Miss fishing but we have a pond at my parents farm in Madison county that I really enjoy fishing. My uncle has a Cat fish pond near by and I also enjoy fishing there. |

Davis Lake, which is just West of the Trace in the Okolona area. Its a national forest lake with a nice campground. Although the fishing is tough, I know of
many 10+ lb bass coming out of there...and larger. You want big fish, you go here.

Took 3 of us to catch em(191) and 3 to clean em. We filled up the fish cooler to where we could barely shut the lid after taking the ice out. Then we polished off all of the cold dranks in the playmate and filled it up to. Some may say we got greedy, I agree, watching a big ole male take down a cork is like heroin to me. |

Some guys were in the grocery store talking about Davis Lake and some of the big ones that folks had been catching there. May try it out this weekend.
