Coach Polk was the most even tempered coach I ever played for. He was about Cohen's age when I played for him. His belief was to never get too high and
never get too low. He did not allow cussing at all.
SO, I am not saying I agreed with that style totally as I have said in the past I think there were times a little extra encouragement could have been beneficial. I am just saying he never did anything that would approach the original allegations as you imply. |
