I think Izzo has been there awhile and is basketball at Mich State. Pitino isn't coming back or he already would have. I have heard UK offering around 2
mil which isn't that much better than we pay (1.5). I think they shop around and get told no by the big names and then go with Ford.

It makes perfect sense that UK had their ducks in a row before they lowered the boom on BCG.
