...."not so good," and that's the optimistic side of me talking right now. I don't think the season will be "terrible," but I
already had doubts that we'd pick up where we left off from last year before these players even got into trouble. That was because I still felt like our
offense would suck, and that our defense wouldn't carry us for a 2nd straight year. Now that these players have gotten into trouble, it makes things even
worse.
Optimistically, I'll say 5 wins for now. If I had some faith in Croom and McCorvey's ability to make the offense go, then I'd say 7 wins even with the player losses. This is, after all, their fifth year at the helm. They've had time to recruit and build depth, and they should be able to plug in adequate replacements by now. That's their responsibility by now. But again, I have no confidence that they'll field a competent offense, so I pretty much always saw next season as a down year anyway.
