1991 Liberty Bowl  (topic)
I'm in the lengthy process of getting my old bowl programs and ticket stubs framed up for the man cave.  As I was putting stuff together for the next one, I realized that the only ticket stub I have for the Liberty Bowl is a...

I allowed for.... (reply)
150-200 accounts of the top 1,250 to not want to be in premium or not buy tickets at all.  That may be low.

Well, let's see. (reply)
In descending order of price per seat (PSL's aside), there will be 72 skyboxes, 236 loge seats, 1,700 east side club level seats, and 1,000 scoreboard club seats.  The skyboxes hold probably in the 1,000 to 1,250 range capacity, but...

No, it's definitely.... (reply)
"in addition to", not "instead of".  I am 100% sure on that.  Meanwhile, RocketDawg is right about the covering.  A storm blowing in from the west will wet the first few rows, and there are a couple of places where leaks...

The first part is right. (reply)
Seinfeld wrote:you're saying that if you've already had club level seats in the past, you can keep them simply by paying the standard annual donation amount, correct?  I think they started at $1,000 a few years ago and they've...

$1,500 apiece, but they were $1,250 just a year ago. But here's the kicker:  if you're not currently in the east side Club Level, or you are but want to add additional seats, it's a $12.5k over 5 year commitment per seat to the...

Sure, go right ahead. (reply)
It'll come in handy at some point.  And honestly, I personally see no issue with an account being transferred to a grandchild.  I'm sure there are plenty of examples where love for State skipped a generation.

The short answer is that... (reply)
an account can be transferred once to an "immediate family member".  With a traditional interpretation of that phrase, you would be ineligible, but I'd check with the BC to make sure.  I'm not sure what an "endowed" member...

The closer we get, the more likely we'll see folks plunking down serious cash to jump a few places in the rankings.

most of my info from. I also gave the BC a call yesterday because my particular seating arrangement wasn't fully covered in the FAQ.Anyway, bottom line is the $25k gives you a much, much better shot at landing premium endzone seats if...

It's a one-time commitment... (reply)
that you get to spread payment for over 5 years.  Other than lifetime giving points with the BC, my guess is it won't do you any good the next time reseating comes around, but who knows when that will be?

If your giving level... (reply)
allowed the purchase of 12 season tickets, I'd say yes.  Of course, you'd want to put down the $2k deposit for the 4 club seats and then try to determine if your overall BC priority is currently high enough to get them.  If...

Auburn. (reply)
Too important for early season momentum, gives us a little revenge for Cam, shuts up the Birmingham media who lead the "hasn't beaten a West team besides UM", and gives me bragging rights at church and (to a lesser extent) in the office.

The Alabama answer to the size question.... (reply)
is that you multiply academy headcount by 1.5 to determine classification.  This negates any potential advantages in recruiting outside the school's immediate area.

Talk about a potential cluster.I'll be very curious to see how they handle the PSLs.  Most BC members have their giving levels dictated by those.  You may have a choice of giving at a certain level trying to boost priority and...
