The topic about brother combos in sports got me to thinking who is the best father/son in sports?
Griffeys?
Bonds?
Earnhardts?
Archie and Peyton?
Archie and Eli?
CooCoo and Sterling Marlin?

Earnhardts off of that list, and it's not close..... | #1

Was Archie any good in NO? I don't remember, but I know he lost a lot. As much as he's accomplished already, Dale Jr.'s whole career is still ahead of him. And Sr. was the best ever, no questions asked.

I'd have to go with Dante Walker and Anthony Dixon. |

Richard Petty was awesome. Kyle Petty sucks.
Howie Long was great. His son was high draft pick. Griffey and Bonds(*) will be hard to beat. |

Archie was a good QB on a bad team in NO. | #4

He played in 2 Pro Bowls and was NFC Player of the Year one year. Not quite Peyton numbers, but he was pretty good.

Lee and Richard Petty. No one will ever win as many races as Richard, ever. Lee won 3 Grand Nationals, the first Daytona 500, and was in the top 5 in points the first decade of the sport. Lee was the best in the sport for a decade, Richard is one of the top three, if not the best driver of all time. |

I'm going to go with the Griffey's over Bonds, mainly because I'm going to give Jr. the benefit of the doubt with his injuries.
Yes, Bonds had injuries to, but Griffey, Jr. had more and his were more chronic. I did not get to see Bonds and Griffey, Sr. in their prime, but that seems to be a toss up. |

...couldn't you say the same for Dale Jr.? After all, what has he accomplished, really?

...answer my question. What has he accomplished? You're the one that said they were such a great tandem. His father was great, and he's popular, but
he hasn't accomplished much of anything (yet). Resident idiot? Geez, what's the point in that? It's definitely rich, coming from you.
