The only thing that makes me laugh is that you said Yancy told a bold face lie, and the only reason it was a bold face lie was because Gene and Steve said it was. every year having mostly small weak hitters that make a lot of contact. The big trouble to me is they did not really hit with that much contact. J.Rae was a
lead off hitter that I bet had at least six at bats a season where he would take three strikes and sit down never raising the bat off his shoulder. Mix that
with all the called third strikes and 20 game slumps made me stop going to the games. He was one of our best too. I don't mean to sound like I did not like
him because I did. When all your players are from that mold with one or two big sticks that mostly under achieve, I also am very happy to see the big MLB type
we are getting. More than happy. Joining the Bulldog Club and going to all the games I can afford happy. I can't wait for 09.
PS: Congrats Raffo, even though you and Polk decided not to offer our new coach congrats and support. I just hope Mr.Polk goes to Arkansas too. |

the hardware.
You must have remembered that it was our beloved Bulldogs that won the baseball title 21 years ago in Athens.
