runoff is tomorrow between Travis Childers and Greg Davis. Are we finally going to get a Bulldog (Davis) back to DC? Thoughts?

Pretty much. You have to wonder if Davis hired a bunch of preschoolers to run his campaign. It is absolutely preposterous for a Republican to let a Democrat
even think about winning a MS-1 race.

It is all silly geographical backlash. The two major newspaper endorsements Childers picked up talked more about Davis being from Desoto County (or the far
"Northwest part of the district") than anything else.

those stupid things in the mail EVERY FREAKING DAY about how the other candidate jacks up property taxes, doesn't pay his taxes, defends convicted felons,
rapes kittens, or humps doorknobs. It's been non-stop, and any reasonable person would/should be turned off by all of this crap.
I know that I feel good about the future of politics for MS and this country with one of these two goobers being in Washington.

Davis couldn't even win the Student Body President Election at MSU when I was in school (lost to a guy with good name recognition, Eric Zacharias...). How
do you expect him to win a Congressional seat?!?!?
