Apparently some bad blood betwee Cohen and Polk. Don't have a clue what its about. Get ready, Raffo is going to be our next head coach. Don't think Ron's decision wasnt pre-meditated based on the current situation in the Athletic Dept. Without any leadership Ron will be able to dictate the coaching decision. Thanks Ron. Strat just doesn't throw information like that around -- it isn't proper in his position to do that and he knows it. On another note, why in the hell would Cohen not be on the list? The only reason I can think of is that he has already turned it down. Polk doesn't like him? Who gives a flip? Likely Byrne doesn't. The only possible reason (and it is a horrible one) to give the job to Raffo over Cohen is money. A friend of mine that played baseball for KY and supposedly talks to Cohen every week or so says Cohen's wife is not coming to MS. But, what in the hell else is he supposed to say? I know one thing -- he gets jittery when I start talking abour our next coach as being his present coach. Go Dogs!
