I think the council was stupid for thinking that, but they did have a point- why isn't SI capable of simply writing a football article about a football GAME and not go into neo-Marxist sociological pseudointellectualism? |

I remember when I first read the article, I thought it was cool because it was the first time in my life that I had seen MSU in an article in SI, and it had
MSU beating Ole Miss in football. Bear in mind, I was 13 at the time.

is that when Brewer was first hired at Mississippi, in their football programs that fall, they featured a series of quotes from prominant college football
coaches praising him. One of the quotes was from Texas A&M coach Jackie Sherrill.
