I have officially lost all respect for Chris Wallace. | #1

The worst possible person to bring in.

Mike Dunleavy and Chris Wallace.... | #2

can the blind lead the blind? Shall they both not fall into the pit?

I'm not totally opposed. You try him for one year, likely a throwaway year anyway | #3
|
and if he's a frak up he'll be great trade bait with an expiring contract.

I agree | #6 | ||

Honestly, what is the guy going to mess up? Our winning ways? he is a 20 10 guy and if he #%+$% up you ship him out in a salary dump next year. The
Grizzlies actually have a legit starting 5 right now

And it's not like Quentin Richardson is a model citizen | #7

at least I don't think he is, he was a Clipper after all

Agree to disagree. | #8 | ||

Richardson was a stupid pickup last year. You have a young and impressionable team with lots of potential. Don't screw it up by bringing in another
cancer.

We traded a cancerous guard for a cancerous big man. I'm ok with that | #10

I just think we have more room for him than we did for Quentin. And I don't see us being great anyway.
I fully admit it could totally backfire and blow up horribly though.

Define legit. | #11 | ||

If you mean legit chance to win 30, I might go along.

Th West is starting to get pretty old, and the grizzlies have a young team now that their key players now having 1-3 years of experience. It will be
interesting to see how it turns out

Unfrickinbelievable. | #13

Hope the folks in Seattle are keeping their arena clean. They'll have a franchise again soon. People wonder why nobody goes to Grizzlies games? This
stupid shit is why.

I think you are overreacting | #14
|
He is here for at most 2 years. The guy is a hell of a player, and if he can keep his head on straight he will be fine, if not he will be used as a salary
dump next year. Once again will he make us any worse?

There is a reason that he gets traded for basically nothing everytime. | #15
|
Teams can't wait to get rid of him. Also add the fact that he is horrendous on defense. I mean like worse than Pau Gasol bad.

Really? | #17 | ||

He's a helluva player? I guess that's why every team that gets him, turns around and desperately gets rid of him? How bad must his attitude be if
teams throw him away at first opportunity despite his stats? And "if" he keeps his head on straight? Why take the chance with an incredibly young
team?
Chris Wallace is a joke of a GM. Too bad the ownership doesn't give a shit. The Griz desperately need local ownership, or they will move.

Chris Wallace has zero success as a NBA administrator | #18
|
The dropoff from Jerry West to Chris Wallace is immense. Immense!!! Wallace was pathetic in Boston. He is incapable of righting the Grizzlies ship. Hiring
Wallace was a much worse idea than hiring Zach Randolph.

Is Richardson really any different? I just don't see how keeping Richardson would have been better | #19

than having Randolph. They both have bad attitudes, but at least Randolph is a big man.

DesotoCountyDawg wrote: The Griz are horrendous on defense. Again, how can this trade make it any worse. The Griz were also dead last in rebounding. Randolph can at least do that. Hatfield is right. You guys are overreacting. You act like ZR is going to ruin this franchise. With the exception of a couple of good years with Hubie and the Czar, this thing's been a train wreck since it landed in Canada. It's not Zack Randolf's or Chris Wallace's fault. And its not like they gave up John Havlechek with Quentin Richardson. |
