They play Ease on Down the Road when our offense is trying to quiet the crowd on an important 3rd down conversion attempt. They wait with bated breath as the chain gain comes out to measure a would-be first down in anticipation of playing Ease on Down the Road. A hurry up offensive play after a first down does not deter our band from finishing Ease on Down the Road. If we didn't have a fight song, they would play Ease on Down the Road as our team ran onto the field. I want to slit my wrists every time I hear Ease on Down the Road.
