jpg or jpeg file? I dont' want to spend any $$$ if possible..........I have some "sports" pics I need to convert.........

and if you don't have Acrobat (NOT the Free reader) you can do a print screen of the image while you have it in the foreground,
copy it to your favorite image editor (GIMP for me) and crop out everything but the picture. |

Maybe the easiest thing... there should be a camera icon on the top toolbar - I think it's called a snapshot tool. Anyway, you can use that to make a box
around exactly what you want a picture of. That will copy the picture, and then you can paste it into paint & save as a jpg or whatever.
I think it copies as whatever size you have the pdf displayed, so if you want better quality or larger picture, zoom in on the pdf and then copy it. |

here's how to convert a pdf to a word .doc file. don't know if this helps.
if you really, really need it as a jpg, go with jsireland's suggestion
