There was a big article this AM in the Starkville paper about General Grant and a researcher at MSU making a big fuss about how great he was. I have seen this guy make a career (at least maybe the end of his career) out of promoting the accomplishments of Grant. Now we have some sort of display or something here at MSU?
Does it rub any of you wrong that Grant effective kicked hell out of Vicksburg and now we are making a fuss out of how great he was? Maybe he was great at kicking the sh*t out of people and should be celebrated, but does it really need to be at MSU?
I wouldn't have to go far to find a researcher that says ethanol and biodiesel are BS and a net loss, but they probably aren't going to be winning awards at Iowa State any time soon.
Curious of any opinions.
