Cons: Possibly has eroded athletic skills and will never get them back. Investing millions in a QB with horrible judgement in the NFL never works out well. The amount of criticism will be huge. If he crashes and burns, he's set you back further than where you are now. Me? I wouldn't touch him.

Posts: 220 06/12/09 01:43 PM	I honestly wouldn't have a problem with it. Obviously he'd have to be checked out... physicals, maybe even a combine-style tryout, meetins with the ownership and coaches. I understand some of the public relations issues, but W's have a way of making that disappear. I also don't think he'd be pulling multimillion dollar contracts either. If he checks out, or just has a little bit of rust, I'm thinking you could pick up a world class athelete fairly cheap (comparitively speaking). Of course, if he hits, you'd better be ready to pony up some big bucks in 2-3 years, and if he doesn't, then you're only out a couple mil and you move on. I think his ego/pride/whatever would force him to take less money to stay in the NFL vs playing in Canada for a season or two.

If he was caught gambling in any way, shape, or fashion, he'd be suspended for 4 games. In general, I'd keep him on a very short leash. (No pun intended. Well, maybe just a little, very bad pun.)
