Why did some of his better teams come out and have horrible performances against people like LSU (in particular) and Georgia?

I remember seeing that on the news, and you couldn't really tell what the Ole Miss guy said, but you could tell it was something personal because Sherrill said "You don't talk about my family like that." What's sadder is the only reason the guy probably got down there on the field was because all of the security people were hanging around the goalposts so that we wouldn't tear them down.
