Bo doesn't seem to know very much about sports outside of college sports in the state of MS. I will say this for Bo, he lands some top notch interviews. I love Thursdays in the fall when he has Brad Stephens on.

I quit listening to these guys. Doug is an unbearable, self impressed "know it all". He also seems unable to speak two sentences without an
"uh" or "you know".

AshleySchaffer wrote: things we already knew really. baseball should be competitive, new basketball facility, keenum wants the AD to be in one the campus master plan, Byrne wants all (mainly the 3 major) athletic facilities to look uniform...talking about putting brick facades on them. said he was really impressed with FSU. he said expect updates at dudy noble including mainly new charibacks and renovating the old ones. bitched about the football schedules of this year and next, apologizing we only have 6 homes games next season.... basically it would have been the opposite of what LT might have said. |

That sounds good in theory and all, but I really hope | #26

if he pursues the brick facade thing, he goes with a different color brick than what was used for the Hump. Something a little darker, closer to maroon than
that orange crap.
Thank you, Mr. Greg Byrne.

BriantheDawg wrote: he addressed that too. said there are some not so near in the future plans to renovate the hump, including a new facade. he didnt really elaborate at all after that comment. that would be quite the renovation. sounds like the bricks they will use on the practice facility will be the ones they use on everything else. anxious to see. |

It sure is nice to have people in charge that see the big picture and think the way I do. I really hope we do the brick facade on Dudy Noble and on the West
side of Davis Wade that matches the color of the brick that's in this picture. And once that's done, let's start imploding buildings that
completely suck, ie Dorman. For the first time in a long time, our University as a whole is moving in the right direction. Good times are ahead!
Thank you, Mr. Greg Byrne.

Mint The Resturant is, as Sir Charles would say, "turrible" | #36
|
I've been there twice. won't go back. $15 for 2 crabcakes the size and thickness of a 50 cent piece with a slice of fried green tomato on each. That
was all that was on the plate and didnt include the drink price. Second time $33 for shrimp-ka-bob with 4 shrimp and a side of onion rings. Both times it
took over an hour and a half to get our food.
Edited to add: and the food sucked too. "There are only three true sports: mountain climbing, bull fighting and auto racing; all the rest are games." - Ernest Hemingway |
