USM fans have completely taken over that stadium..... |

it sounds like an even crowd. However, why does everyone want them to win?

because every year since at least 2003, we have heard about how Ole Miss has a team "built for Omaha" and all this, and now you have USM going to
Omaha on their first try.
Now we can say, yeah but, USM even made it. It makes the 4th choking even better. "Because just being good kids who make good grades isn't good enough anymore."- John Cohen
"This league doesn't care how hard you try. This league cares about having real players who can perform certain skills. If you try to throw a fastball in and you miss the middle of the plate, the league doesn't care that you're a really good kid. The game says you better execute the pitch." - John Cohen |

I am rooting for them is because of Palmer. If he didn't announce his retirement, I would have not cared.
I support the two most frustrating teams in America: The New Orleans Saints and the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

represent our great state, especially if it's not Ole Miss. I would much rather it be us, but USM has a far less chance of winning it than Ole Miss would
have, but at least our state gets represented.

because every year since at least 2003, we have heard about how Ole Miss has a team "built for Omaha"Ain't that the damn truth. Ole Miss may be a dependable choke machine come crunch time, but they are media darlings. Now. Concerning the 2010 Ole Miss baseball squad: When will we be hearing, like their predecessors, the 2010 squad is "built for Omaha?" 5 bucks says we'll be hearing it beginning 2 weeks before the Egg Bowl. |

Why was I pulling for USM | #13 | ||
|
It's very simple. The golden buzzards can make it, but the rebels just keep choking. It's amusing to me. Plus, the rebs opportunities have past
them by. Hell Cohen beat the rebs 2 out of 3 this year with zero talent. MSU is 2 years away from dominating the rebs and consistently going to Omaha.

Fan smack still? Really? There were over 1,000 USM fans in Gainesville. The "no fans" thing is played out and not true. |
