The locked thread about Bianco wasn't intended to start an Ole Miss-MSU pissing match |

I was simply making the point that its obvious to everyone that Bianco should NOT be let go if Ole Miss fails to get to Omaha. Why is Stans not given the same
treatment by his loudest critics?? Is everyone at Ole Miss just a bunch of "sheep?"

I have never met an Ole Miss fan... | #1

that said we should get rid of Stansbury. It's only State fans.
I support the two most frustrating teams in America: The New Orleans Saints and the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Actually, Bianco gets a lot of the same treatement on the Nafoom board as Stans gets here. | #2

It's just the nature of the beast that fans are never satisfied. Even if you're in the top 5 every year, fans will bitch about not winning a national
title.

ole miss fans will talk crap about him when trying to prove that kennedy is the better coach
several members of the national media buy into the "recruits but can't coach" idea rest of the sec coaches don't really like him, that could have changed with the new guys coming in (i think even pearl is ok with him) rest of the sec fans think he's a pretty good coach |

Yeah, but that's reasonable | #7

It's not like you're calling for his head because he won 20 "meaningless" games a year.

rest of the sec coaches don't really like him Why should we give a shit what the "rest of the SEC" thinks? They are fine with us as long as we lose to them. Let us win and then we become a "problem" for them. |

learn how to reply, etc.

I don't think it's so much that the rest of the SEC coaches didn't like him as it was | #10
|
that a few (mostly former) SEC coaches really, really didn't like him.

The only coach that honestly did not like stans was c34Gotfried....that was well known but even | #11
|
Brady had nice things to say about him the year he was let go. Stans is the Chairman of the SEC coaches committee. That is voted on by the coaches so i think
the perception of him has changed.

i agree | #12 | ||

part of that was based on him not getting sec coty when he went 14-2, 8-0 on the road
