but honestly what the hell is JJ Redick doing in the NBA??? Winsome Frazier was better than him. Hell Shane Power can probably take him 1 on 1.

From Wikipedia:
In the 2004-05 season, Redick led Duke in scoring with 21.8 points per game. He won the ACC Player of the Year award, and the Adolph F. Rupp Trophy for national player of the year.[3] Redick's victory in the Rupp voting spoiled the consensus for Utah's Andrew Bogut, who won every other major player of the year award. In 2006, after facing close competition all year from Gonzaga player Adam Morrison, Redick won the major player of the year awards. Redick set the record for the most consecutive free throws made in the ACC with 54.[4] This record began on March 20, 2003 and ended on January 15, 2004 Redick ended the season with 964 points.[10] Redick came up just short of the ACC record for points scored in a season, which was set by Dennis Scott with 970 points in 1990. Redick also finished his career as the leading scorer in ACC tournament history.[3] His total of 225 points eclipsed Wake Forest's Len Chappell, who scored 220 points in the tournament from 1960-62. On February 4, 2007, Redick's #4 jersey was retired at Cameron Indoor Stadium at a special halftime ceremony. Redick became the thirteenth Duke player
to have his jersey retired.

Once again, pro potential and college numbers are a completely different thing, especially when it comes to spot up shooters. Reddick was deadly in college and
while Winsome was a nice player at times, their careers don't come close to one another. If you are going to compare players, Darryl Wilson is a closer
comparison and even he didn't come close to the accolades that Reddick received at Duke.

Arguably, Reddick was the best pure shooter... | #5

...who has played the game in the past 25 years. For the older Bulldog fans, Jeff Malone and Doug Hutton could both shoot the lights out. There just
wasn't a 3 point line when they played.

but, I wish Stan Van would play Reddick more and encourage him to shoot the dam ball more, he consistently knocked down nba 3s in college with a man in his
face. He basically never got to play his first two years in the league, but, Orlando said they were not trading him away. He will be a late bloomer in the NBA
and eventually play alot more in a steve kerr type roll.

taking Frasier over Reddick... | #9
|
is about the same as taking Stansbury over Coach K
Stansbury is 17-44 against the top 25, and 51-82 overall against the top 50...I rest my case (numbers compliments of ScoobaDawg)

Those who want to stick with this idea that the NBA is boring are missing two of the greatest conference finals series since the 1980's. We watch the NBA
for phonomenal offense, defense, team play, individual play, brilliant coaching, shameless passion (on the part of the millionaire players who really do care
about every play). I don't watch it all season, because I just don't have time, but the NBA playoffs are among the best shows in sports. If you're
missing it, I hate it for you.
If a player is getting minutes in the NBA, it's not because of where he played in college. It's because he produces. |

I agree in saying that these are the best conference finals in a while. But I think the playoffs are the only thing worth watching in the nba besides a few
regular season games.
