Posts: 13149 04/29/09 07:28 PM Our KB21	Tags : None I'm convinced that many of you believe that Stansbury is so masterful at recruiting, he orchestrated this whole thing. You guys believe he set this whole thing up and knew all along that USC wasnt going to sign him due to his issues. Thats why he stayed in touch with Sidney. Pure genius. Lets not bring up that all coaches stay in touch with their top recruits until they actually sign with someone else, hoping to be able to sway them at the last second. But when stansbury does it, he is a genius. Lets also not bring up the fact that he didnt want to go to Miss State. He wanted to be a Trojan. But the Trojans dont want him- too much baggage. But since that happened, we arent lucky- Stansbury is just that good. Plain and simple- the "luck of Stansbury" has kicked in aGAIN. He works hard, is a good guy, and deserves the good things that happen to him. But he does seem to have some good luck. His interest in USC and UCLA was due to his parents work and home there. He essentially was dropped by both California schools, so where did he go? Back to where his home and heart was.

Let's see, Baylor doesn't go thru a bizarre deal, or we don't get Roberts, and now this guy. Very odd deal, but heck...they both have/ had Mississippi connections. I guess Stans' can thank his lucky stars...but he seems to be in the right place at the right time....WHO would have ever thought we could have gotten either one? The F'n list goes on and on and on. Players committing somewhere, signing an LOI even, and heading elsewhere. Every damn year at schools all over the country, both regular and elite. Its commonplace for all these coaches to be lucky...so why even call him that in the first place?
