Pretty hard stuff even in other translations:

Somehow this verse never came up in Sunday school. Maybe someone on Gene's page could explain how this means something else than what it seems.

It's an allegory meant to describe how Jerusalem and Samaria defied God by their relationships with Godless nations. Read all of Ezekiel 23 and it'll
make more sense.
