That explains part of Stans flight plans | #2
|
last night. He was on my flight out of GTR and I thought I saw him at the B'ham flight gate in Atlanta. I did overhear him talking to Kirby by phone
saying that after their recruiting meeting this morning, they were going to "head out West" together. He also talked to a recruit (may have been
Lewis or someone else) and asked if he had made a decision yet / knew which was he was leaning, but I could not hear that conversation because some tool beside
us was in yacking about Chicago weather.
Anyone have a clue who Stans could be going to see out west today? |

Another tidbit. ... | #3 | ||

I hope this doesn't piss off Wardlaw too bad. In the BDJ article they were able to coax this encouraging quote out of Lewis to end the conversation:
"I can learn a lot from Jarvis Varnado and it will be great playing with him."Fantastic scoop and great info from Wardlaw and Co.

That is good stuff right there.... | #4

almost "Coach Watch 08'" level stuff. No idea who "Out West" could be.

Don't know, but if we sign two guys this spring | #5
|
that means Jarvis is gone. Let's hope the "out west" guy is a future recruit.

Mean Jean didnt get the scoop? | #8
|
Jean is going to have to get a prescription to the Junction and constantly refresh the Pack to make sure he can keep up and let the sheep know whats going on
at MSU.

I'm not sure. | #9 | ||

During the Jordan All-Star game on ESPN over the weekend, the announcers were talking about Sidney and one of them said something to the effect that he was
going to sign as soon as he got back to LA.

i think we have two schollies to give this year. | #11
|
we lose brian johnson and the walk-on got a scholarship this year. i think.

tenureplan |
can anyone confirm that? | #12
|
I was pretty sure that we only had 1 available scholly. Anyway, that doesn't mean that Jarvis is leaving if we do only have 1 available. Its a possibility
that somebody like Elgin or Jaqueisse is getting cut loose.

Jarvis is not leaving | #13

I have looked at every mock NBA draft and I have not found one showing JV as a first round draft pick and only a couple listed him in the second round, as one
of the last two picks. Are there some others who think otherwise?

Can not find any place that says he has signed. | #14
|
Does not mean he has not, but all the other guys have "signed loi" by their name if they have. |

I would highly doubt either of those two leaving if we were anyone other than MState. Elgin's size and experience is deeply needed and I think Stans said
very recently that Holcombe should be able to get a medical redshirt for last year or something to that effect.

I thought we had one left after Smith | #17
|
and if Lewis did not take it, we were not going to fill it.
I can't close down the bar anymore, but I can sure as hell open it up.

On scholarship next year we'll have:
Varnado Stewart Bailey Holcombe Benock R. Johnson Turner Augustus Osby Bost Beckham Smith Lewis That's 13, so we can't bring in anyone else unless we cut someone loose. |
