"I want to be working very closely with you to help you in any way I can," Keenum told MSU athletic director
Greg Byrne. "I want us to be competitive," he said. "I want us to win championships."

I must say, Matt Wyatt has come a long way since his first gig on WTVA. | #1

I didn't even realize that was him for a few minutes. Doesn't sound much like a hick anymore. Good for you Matt.

Wyatt is sounding good. However, that damn air raid siren after every score has got to go. It is ok after a long bomb, but not every score.

I agree that Matt is better than he was.
Watching the team a little more critically this time around. Focusing on the line of scrimmage. I think they may be okay from what I'm seeing so far. Of course, there is room for improvement, but we might be okay. |

GuyD770 wrote: I always had to chuckle when the air raid siren would go off during the Croom era when we would have to run three times from the 1 yard line to score our first six points of the game in the fourth quarter. Then the cannon from behind the bushes would go off. "Because just being good kids who make good grades isn't good enough anymore."- John Cohen
"This league doesn't care how hard you try. This league cares about having real players who can perform certain skills. If you try to throw a fastball in and you miss the middle of the plate, the league doesn't care that you're a really good kid. The game says you better execute the pitch." - John Cohen |

Yeah I liked how they got two state guys for the broadcast | #8

The other guy was Steve Ellis from SDT. Can't act like a state guy on his show......... but he is.
After watching the game on TV (sober) I found alot of things I missed Saturday. Dixon looks good out there and has lost alot of weight. I like our kicking game and I think these JUCO guys and transfers are going to be great for special teams. We do need some help from these freshmen in the fall to help with lack of depth at a few positions but we are better off than i thought. The excitement in our players and coaches is a welcome sign and it it very evident that these guys want to be out there. Mullen was running around high fiving players and coaches and at the end of the game I saw him joking around with the opposing coaches of the Maroon and White teams. The players seem to be enjoying the new traditions and thank god the rain held off. "Now he's got me on the war path and all I can do is hurt him," Polk said of Byrne in a phone interview with The Associated Press from Athens, Ga., where he is watching Georgia play North Carolina State in an NCAA super regional. "I'm going to do everything I can to make his life miserable." wow.... |

Steve Ellis and Matt Wyatt usually do the home CSS football replays during the fall** | #9

I support the two most frustrating teams in America: The New Orleans Saints and the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Will every MSU game be televised live by ESPN and will the CSS replays continue?
