But I dont care. It took them 8 more commits to be 1 or 2 more spots in front of us. And if you compare the classes by points after we find out who doesnt
qualify, I doubt their class is ranked higher. I think we have to look at how many of their commits are game changers, and how many of ours we can say the
same about. I see at least 7 non JUCO's that play for us next year and play very well. I dont see that in OM's recruiting class. I think we have
more game changers and better all around talent in our class than Ole Miss does. If you include JUCO's, we probably have at least 10 guys from this class
that will make impacts next year. They have speed, strength, and will be more talented than the people they are replacing. This is a very deep and talented
class across the board, except maybe at OL. Does anyone else agree?

The rankings only count your Top 20 on rivals and your Top 25 on scout, so the difference between 27 and 37 signees is negligible in the way they calculate.
Also, out of all of our blue chip signees, the only one that is considered borderline at all is Tig, and the only reason he was allowed to sign is because the
staff feels good about where he stands academically. The rest of our top signees are on track to qualify. Our sign and place guys are actually rated in the
middle to bottom of the class, guys like Ferrell and Smiley.
You're right about one thing though. You'll have more of your class contribute next year than we will, because we have enough talent on campus at most positions to not rely on newcomers. We may only have 5-10 guys that don't redshirt. The rest will have the luxury of redshirting because they won't be needed immediately. |

the day in the twenties despite most of their 17 commits being four star players. But keep on trying to make yourself look bright, its at least, amusing.

State will definitely have more players that impact next year.
Most of Ole Miss' class will redshirt. I expect 3 or 4 of Ole Miss' lower tier signees to be found new homes, 3 or 4 to grey shirt, and 2 or 3 to not qualify. |

Both have very good classes especially in comparison to prior years. MSU did well in MS and addressed needs like QB and WR. Ole Miss did well out of State and got the top player in MS. The main thing is that BOTH teams did way better than they have done in recent memory so BOTH teams should be very happy today. |

..Rivals. com (don't know about Scout.com) will re-rank their top 25 after all the dead weight has been removed from these signing classes.
MSU will be ranked higher than OM in the August rankings. Why? Because you can't "sign" 38 people without some major cluster17 breaking out. After 2008 re-ranking came out, Auburn & South Carolina fell out of the top 25.. http://footballrecruiting...om/content.asp?CID=843421

Cotton...all should qualify.

.......a different ranking wherever you go, whether it's Rivals, Scout, ESPN, etc. And the reason they all exist is because they can, because it's easy
to make money in the business when you can sucker gullible fans from all over into purchasing a premium subscription to your site when you rank their favorite
team's class higher than the other site does.
Two, while it's important to sign more than just a class full of 2-star rated players, the reality is that none of this crap matters until you see the product on the field, which in the long run is all that matters. Recruiting class rankings are for bragging rights amongst fans who generally don't know shit. All I care about right now is this: OM just had a damn fine season and will likely challenge for the SEC West title next season. MSU just had one of our shittiest seasons in the last decade, on top of six other shitty seasons. What we need to focus on more than anything is to hope that Mullen is a legit head coach, legitimately knows how to spot talent, and will actually win games.
