When I was a student at State, my best friend and I were driving back to Starkville from Jackson late at night. Highway 25 was barely getting started on
4-laning, so I took the Natchez Trace to Highway 12 route. It was the night of January 1st or 2nd, and no one was on the roads. Somewhere in the middle of

			<description><![CDATA[ that were transporting Alaska barriers from Tikrit to Baghdad in the middle of the night.  Manning the gun, a bomb got our truck.  I was facing the direction
the that the bomb came from.  I saw bright, then felt hot on my face, then woke up 10 minutes later.  The turret was still spinning when I came to and the
dismount in the back of the truck pulled me in.  I was later med-evaced to a Baghdad hospital for brain injuries and vomiting blood.  Later we were told that
we should all be dead, but... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ I guess I was about 13 or 14 at the time. We were building a fence with 4x4 posts in the ground and we had 1x6 slats going across. The fence had a sort of
spline shape to it so each slat was nailed to one post, set against the other post towards the other end, and pushed in the middle until the free end of the
slat was against the post it was to be nailed to. Well, my dad was pushing and he had me stand and see when the slat was curved enough. He was doing a slat

			<description><![CDATA[ hunting Guntersville Lake, we had a floating blind that we had to paddle a small jon boat to get to from the bank. Dad stepped out of the blind into the jon
boat, I was about 13, still watching for ducks, turned to see how far he was from the blind, and the jon boat was upside down. I never heard it flip over, I
was kicking my boots off when his hand came up on the opposite side of the boat, then went back down. He came up and grabbed the blind, I helped him in the
blind, got the boat turned... ]]></description>

of the shadows with a semi-automatic 9mm and pointed it at my head asking me to empty my pockets and for her to hand over her purse.  He grabbed everything,
jumped in my car and sped off.  On Christmas night, he used my car in a driveby with an AK-47 and killed 2 wounded 4.  I was operating on one of the wounded a
