Corky didn't really stand up for him to much after the umpire explained it to him.

If there was any doubt, Corky would be out of the game to. The coach is supposed to stand up for his players if one of them get kicked out unjustly. And none of the other players for USM stood up for their guy either.

And regrdless of where he hit him, you can't jab your elbow at somebody face, chest or whatever.

Like I said, he would probably still be in the game if he had...

I think his arm was a few inches away from his chest, shielding himself. Looked to me like the catcher's tag pushed his arm up.

I agree, that was stupid to send the runner. That ball was almost shallow enough for the second baseman to catch. They should have taken their chances with two outs and the bases still loaded.

But to me, it did look like the guy for USM jabbed at his head with his elbow, which I thought was a little dirty. I think the catcher reacted the way he did as well as the pitcher because of the elbow job. I don't know if it was intentional or not. To me, it looked intentional.

Still, both guys should have been ejected.

As far as the runner, I guess he should have slid. He still would have been out by a mile no matter what he did. At least by sliding you make the...

the runner has to avoid the catcher. As long as the catcher stands in the basepath, there's no way the runner can score.

I didn't see anything malicious there. He just ran in standing up. Does the runner have to stand there and let the guy come tag him? I smell BS there.
