It's really a shame that he couldn't be used to his full potential this year. He's got nasty stuff, and he didn't get the recognition he deserves because he's on a terrible team. I think that in a few years we'll be seeing him mowing down mlb batters.

Does Weatherford, Lynn, Satterwhite, or Bittle go pro this year?

I hope Weatherford stays due to injury to prove what he is capable of doing in a full season either as a starter or closer. Bittle I think is gone because he was healthy the whole year, and his numbers are pretty solid. Satterwhite and Weatherford are actually ready due to their "Papelbon rawness" (fastball velocity/pro potential), but Satterwhite has yet to prove he has the "mental toughness/abillity" to make pitches consistently. They had a tribute to Ron Polk. I caught the interviews with Pigott, Skip Bertman, Cohen, Jim Morris, Mike Martin, O'Sullivan, Ray Tanner....there were others but I missed them. Here is a very brief review of it. I thought this was well done. I hope stuff like this will help me to put this season behind me and to finally be a fan of the guy again one day.

Basic questions asked were:
1. What has Ron Polk meant to college baseball?

I played middle school and Jr. Varsity Quarterback, but I don't have a clue about mechanics and all that jazz. All I did was hand off and throw to the tight end once every couple of games. I do know it's good to be calm in the pocket and have your head down field making checks. That being said, Russell seems to be able to do those things while having a VERY strong, accurate arm. If you go watch, keep your eye on one pass about 50 yards down field that the WR drops, but it was a go...

Right now, with some teams still finishing on the day, we're in sixth place at -8. As it stands currently, the cut line is at -5. Top ten teams advance to the NCAA championship in a couple weeks.

The diving catch made by the Arkansas Rightfielder in the game last night was selected as the number two top play of the day on ESPN. I can't remember if or how many MSU runners were on base, but it was a helluva catch. ESPN took the footage from the MSU post game feed.
